Dagestan increases industrial production tempos

Makhachkala, December 16, 2016. Dagestan Minister of Industry and Trade Yusup Umavov met with Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov, for informing him about the current state and the prospects of Dagestan industry’s development.

According to Umavov, the volume of industrial production in the republic doubled over the past four years. It had been achieved through the activities of enterprises.

"This year, the plant" Dagdizel "increased its production by 2.9 times, Gadzhiev’s plant OJSC by 1.6 times; " Concern KEMZ "and Azimuth JSC by 1.7 times. The volume of shipped goods of own production, as well as provided works and services for the period from January to November 2016 amounted to 46.5 billion rubles, "- Dagestani minister noted.

Besides, the minister recalled about commissioning of two industrial parks in the beginning of the year,  bringing the total number to 5. At these platforms 23 residents which attracted 414 million rubles of investments operate. In the nearest future, two more industrial parks - in Karabudakhkent district of Dagestan and in the town of Dagestanskie Ogni will be commissioned.

"The most important thing is that we manged to maintain the momentum of development. Besides, we should remember how the republic economy was bad at the beginning of 90s, and what we have done for the present. We need to establish and to implement the state target program “New Industrialization” in every city and large districts of Dagestan - Ramazan Abdulatipov concluded.
