Dagestan glass plant to increase productivity up to 80%

Dagestan Steklo Tara plant JSC located in the city of Dagestanskie Ogni intends to increase production capacity up to 80%. Thus, it will help in import substitution. To do this, a new workshop with glass-melting furnaces will be erected, Jalal Urudzhev, an enterprise economist says. The total investment for the project makes 1 billion 608 million rubles, 20% of which are the plant's own funds, 80% are borrowed under the guarantee of the Russian bank. The company will produce lightweight glass containers with increased strength. According to Urudzhev, there is a demand for such products, especially among enterprises in the south of Russia.
