Dagestan establishes Commission to promote development of ecotechnological parks

Makhachkala, May 15, 2018. The sitting to discuss the creation of eco-technology parks on the territory of the republic has taken place in the regional Ministry of Industry and Energy, the press service of the state body informs.

Recall, on September 4, 2017, in Moscow the Industry and Energy Ministry RD and the Austrian company Christof Industries signed a Memorandum on strategic cooperation in construction of integrated plants for the processing of secondary material resources.

Since signing the document, the parties conducted an active work aimed at implementation of the state target Strategy for the Development of the Industry for the Processing, Utilization and Disposal of Consumption Wastes for the period till 2030.
The agenda of the sitting consisted of issues related to the establishment of an interdepartmental coordinating body to promote the development of ecotechnological parks in Dagestan, as well as the implementation of the process of diversification of enterprises of the defense industry complex located in the Republic of Dagestan in accordance with the agreements signed with the companies "SAP Group" (USA), Christophe Industries (Austria) and "Womm" (Italy).

The project developer, Andrei Lesnovsky, presented a model of ecotechnological parks to the audience. Lesnovsky noted that the term "eco-park" was suggested by the environmental control authorities of Russia. "The capacity of enterprises within the parks will provide additional energy to the regions of location, receive raw materials for further processing and use in the production sector. The project involves the creation of new jobs and the involvement of small and medium-sized businesses in the production of products from secondary raw materials"- the speaker reported.

According to the resolution adopted on the basis of presentations, the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Republic was determined as a coordinating body for the project. The regional Ministry of Construction has been instructed to prepare construction sites and to develop design schedules.
