Dagestan enters top twenty regions in dynamics of socio-economic development

Makhachkala, January 12, 2016. According to the objective evaluation of the regional executive authorities’ effectiveness provided by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation for 2014, Dagestan took the 17th place, the source in Dagestan ministry of economy and regional development reports. In 2013, the republic placed at the 34th place.

Noteworthy, it was a significant result for Dagestan. Dagestan economy demonstrates positive dynamics, as it is confirmed at the highest governmental level. The evaluation of rates of socio-economic development of territories of the Russian Federation based on the results of work of the executive bodies of subjects of the Russian Federation aimed at increase their own revenues to the regional budgets and maintaining high dynamics of socio-economic development.

In accordance with the methodology, the efficiency has been calculated on the basis of 11 indicators, which are conditionally divided into 4 blocks: the increase in own revenues for the regional budgets, the economic development, the social development and the population surveys.

The annual growth of income tax revenues to the consolidated budget of the Republic of Dagestan totaled 1.1-1.5 billion rubles. For the past three years, the average growth rate made 9.3 percent.

Over the past three years, the investment into the fixed assets in Dagestan increased in 1.3 times. 4.9 million sq.m of housing were put into operation in 2014. The real disposable incomes increased by 10 percent.

The final evaluation of effectiveness included such a criteria as the population survey. I.e. the experts monitored the views of citizens, their level of satisfaction with various aspects of life, for which the bodies of executive power of subjects of the Russian Federation in various spheres are responsible.

For the first time since 2007 - the beginning of evaluation of the regional executive authorities’ effectiveness in the Russian Federation – the Republic of Dagestan has entered the top twenty regions and received a grant in the amount of more than 161 million rubles.
