Five solar power plants will be constructed in Dagestan in the next five years, the press service of the republican Ministry of Energy reports. The projects’ total cost amounts to approx. 13.4 billion rubles of private investments. The sites for the construction of new energy facilities are located in the cities of Yuzhno-Sukhokumsk, Kizlyar, as well as Derbent, Nogai and Karabudakhkent municipal districts. The stations will be able to provide energy to about 250,000 people. Besides, 90 new permanent jobs will be created.
