Makhachkala, May 5, 2015. Dagestan Business Ombudsman Bashir Magomedov and Dagestan Prosecutor Ramazan Shakhavazov met to discuss their interaction and work out specific measures to protect entrepreneurs’ rights in the republic, a source in the business ombudsman’s office told RIA Dagestan.

The business ombudsman made a number of proposals to address systemic problems that hinder business development in Dagestan. For example, he suggested holding meetings of Dagestan Public Council and the interdepartmental working group at the Prosecutor's Office at least once per quarter and organizing conferences for the leadership of the business ombudsman and the prosecutor's offices on urgent issues of business development, protecting their rights and legitimate interests on a regular basis once every in six months.

The two sides agreed to come up with work plans of the Public Council and the interdepartmental working group taking into account the proposals by the council and working groups, and to pre-agree on the agenda with the business ombudsman.
