Dagestan authorities to allocate approx. 350 million rubles for creation of industrial parks

Makhachkala, December 2, 2016. Dagestan authorities intend to allocate approx. 350 million rubles to create 17 industrial parks by 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic informs.

"Approx.  350 million rubles will be spent for the creation of 17 industrial parks: of which more than 67 million rubles from the federal budget, about 62 million rubles from the republican and municipal budgets and 220 million rubles from the non-budgetary sources" - the representative of the Ministry said.

Within 5 years, the parks are expected to earn about 3 billion rubles of revenues and create more than 4000 jobs. Currently, three industrial parks and three technical parks are operating in the republic.

By the end of the year, it is planned to open two industrial parks. The one based on the territory of the radio plant in Makhachkala. Another one will be located in Karabudakhkentsky district, near the airport "Uytash".

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Dagestan, the industrial parks are created for the purpose of socio-economic development of the region and the host municipalities. Besides, the new facilities will allows to create high-quality engineering, transport and production infrastructure.
