Makhachkala, December 5, 2017. The Republic of Dagestan keeps showing upward trend in agriculture. By 2020, the agricultural production in the region is planned to reach the level up to 167 billion rubles, the official website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Dagestan reports.

The economic performance for the current year exceed the amount of 110 billion rubles. Thus by the next year the indicators are expected to be doubled.

The various investment projects, the state support programs for agriculture, and the other factors serve as a springboard for the implementation of the policy of "growth" in the agro-industrial complex of the republic.
