Abdusamad Gamidov and Dmitry Skrivanov visit investment site "Uytash"

Makhachkala, May 18, 2015. The Prime Minister RD Abdusamad Gamidov and CEO of " Monocities Development Fund " Dmitry Skrivanov, who arrived in the republic with a working visit, visited the investment site "Uytash Airport" in the town of Kaspiysk. During the visit, the head of the republican government A.Gamidov and Dmitry Skrivanov examined the investment sites, where they spoke in detail on the progress of projects.

Several important projects, namely "The creation of industrial-building complex "Caspian" (initiator of the project - LLC" Plant of Building Materials "); "The construction of the complex logistics center" (initiator - LLC "Agrico Northern Caucasus"); "The modernization and expansion of procuring production of the JSC "Gajiyev Plant" are currently under implementation in the investment site "Uytash" . The implementation of these projects with a total value of about 21.3 billion rubles will allow to create 1764 permanent and temporary jobs.

Noteworthy, the investment project "The creation of industrial-building complex "Caspian" envisages the construction of four plants producing ceramic bricks, concrete blocks, mortar and lime. The designed full capacity of the project may be reached, according to the plan, in 2016. In the end of 2015 three plants will be commissioned. The republican budget may receive 116-120 million rubles of tax deductions annually.

Then the top officials examined investment project "The construction of the complex logistics center", providing input produce complex with a capacity 153 thousand tons (100 ha). For the present time, specialists finalized design and estimate documentation, obtained positive experts’ opinion, as well as the construction permit. Apart fr om the main production buildings, it is planned to build a residential complex and a kindergarten. The project creates 915 jobs.
The parties also discussed the status of the project of modernization and expansion of procuring production of the JSC "Gajiyev Plant" wh ere mechanical workshops, foundry and iron structures will be built.

Experts say that the situation when they register the reduction of employees in key enterprises of the city on the one hand and the increase in the number of working-age population on the other, may subsequently lead to negative social and economic consequences. Taking into account the emerging trends, the republican authorities pay significant attention to the diversification of local enterprises by launching new investment projects.

In order to diversify the economy and improve the socio-economic situation in the single-industry town of Kaspiysk the Government of the Republic of Dagestan took a decision to establish investment site of mixed type "Uytash" with the total area of 130 hectares.
