12th inter-regional exhibition "Business Dagestan - 2015" to be held in Makhachkala

Makhachkala, February 4, 2015. The 12th inter-regional exhibition with international participation "Business Dagestan - 2015" is scheduled to run on March 19-21 at the Gamzatov Dagestan National Library, CEO of Dagestan-EXPO Magomed Saruglanov said to today's press conference.

The annual exhibition is held in line with the republican event-and-date calendar-2015. Applications are submitted until a week before the show.
Saruglanov said holding such a significant event as Business Dagestan positively affects the progress of interregional and international relations between enterprises and organizations in the country, "Exhibitions like this create a favorable investment climate to attract potential domestic and foreign investors in the republic’s  economy, and help boost promotion of competitive products, goods and services.

"The main purpose of the exhibition is assisting manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers from different regions of the country in promoting their products to the markets in Dagestan and North Caucasus regions, and promoting and supporting import substitution and export of a wide range of items including high-tech products," - Dagestan-EXPO CEO said.

Saruglanov added that the business part of the exhibition includes conferences, workshops, round tables and presentations. The upcoming event will be attended by more than 100 companies and organizations from Dagestan and other Russian regions, among them plants, telecommunication companies, banks, banking institutions, leading Dagestani universities, the Dagestan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, etc.

In 2014, Business Dagestan was attended by 113 enterprises and organizations from Dagestan and other North Caucasus Federal District regions, representatives of Moscow, Rostov, Omsk, Lipetsk, Stavropol and Krasnodar regions, as well as the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg. It was visited by 4,500 people.
