MAKHACHKALA, July 15 – RIA "Dagestan". Dagestan-born wrestler Shamil Mamedov, now representing Bulgaria, has advanced to the 65 kg final at the ranking tournament in Budapest after a dominant run of victories. He defeated China’s Xuexiang (10:0), Kazakhstan’s Adil Ospanov (11:1), Nachyn Kuular (10:0), and India’s Kumar Mohit (10:0), with all matches ending before time limit. Mamedov will face Iran’s Abbas Ebrahimzadeh for the gold medal and was the only athlete from Dagestan to reach final on the opening day of competition.
