Dagestani Ekaterina Chikanova to Compete at World Women's Wrestling Championship

MAKHACHKALA, August 12 – RIA "Dagestan". Ekaterina Chikanova is scheduled to represent Russia in the under-53 kg division at the U-20 World Wrestling Championships in Bratislava, running August 16–23. As a standout athlete from Dagestan, she enters the tournament backed by notable prior success in international competition. Her résumé includes winning the U-15 European Championships and earning silver at the U-20 European Championship.
