MAKHACHKALA, August 2 – RIA "Dagestan". Dagestan freestyle wrestling team delivered a triumphant performance at the Russian Championship, winning 18 medals, including 9 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze.
The gold winners are: Abubakar Mutaliev (up to 57 kg), Abasgadzhi Magomedov (up to 65 kg), Zaur Uguev (up to 61 kg), Ibragim Ibragimov (up to 70 kg), Ismail Khaniev (up to 79 kg), Ibragim Kadiev (up to 86 kg), Amanula Gadzhimagomedov (up to 92 kg), Magomed Kurbanov (up to 97 kg) and Abdulla Kurbanov (up to 125 kg).
Silver medal winners are: Musa Mehtikhanov (up to 57 kg), Eldar Akhmudinov (up to 65 kg), Aznaur Tavaev (up to 70 kg), Akhmed Usmanov (up to 79 kg) and Magomed-Takhir Khaniev (up to 97 kg).
Bronze medalists of the Russian Championship are: Bashir Magomedov (up to 65 kg), Said Saidulov (up to 79 kg), as well as Magomedgadzhi Magomedov and Alikhan Zhabrailov (up to 97 kg).
The performance of Dagestani team was one of the most successful at the tournament. The representatives of the republic confirmed the high level of Dagestan's freestyle wrestling tradition and once again demonstrated the region's leading position in the all-Russian arena.
