MAKHACHKALA, March 10 – RIA "Dagestan". The photo exhibition "Donbass. Path to Revival" has opened at the "Russia – My History" historical park in Makhachkala as part of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. The opening ceremony was attended by Saygidakhmed Akhmedov, Vice-Speaker of the republican Parliament, and Dzhambulat Salavov, Mayor of Makhachkala. During the event, officials referenced the case of Alexandra Zhulya, an exhibition attendee whose family reportedly receives personal patronage from Head of the Republic Sergei Melikov.
Concurrently, a charity master class titled "Heart in Unity, Art for Peace" was held for boarding school students and children without parental care. Participants created artworks intended for a charity auction, with proceeds designated to support their educational institution.
The event combined cultural programming with social outreach components. Organizers noted that the initiative aligned with themes of regional solidarity, including support for the Donbass region, while also addressing the needs of vulnerable children in Dagestan.
