MAKHACHKALA, June 9 – RIA Dagestan. Dagestan Prime Minister Magomed Ramazanov led a government commission meeting focused on information protection. The top official pointed out that safeguarding information in the republic became more crucial than ever, requiring every agency to ensure their technical and organizational defenses to be fully coordinated and ready.
Ramazanov reminded those present that many areas of state regulation had begun transitioning to a digital format. He pointed out that the medical information system had automated the operations of medical facilities, the "Electronic Education of Dagestan" system was being rolled out in schools and social security payouts were being managed through the "Katarsis" system. Additionally, Ramazanov stated that public administration was operating via electronic document management and procurement systems.
The Prime Minister also noted that the ongoing digital transformation was accompanied by persistent DDoS attacks on information resources, requiring enhanced safeguards against data breaches and system failures. "Accordingly, the information protection commission functions as the coordinating body tasked with setting up conditions for the safe operation of state information systems" Ramazanov said.
