MAKHACHKALA, March 3 – RIA "Dagestan". Dagestan recorded a cash execution rate of 99.1% for national projects in 2025, marking the third consecutive year of growth and exceeding average across the North Caucasian Federal District.
As part of regional project implementation, 314 facilities were constructed or reconstructed during the year, including 119 primary healthcare centers, 23 road infrastructure objects, nine schools, two kindergartens, two cultural institutions and a university academic building with a dormitory.
Additionally, 132 public spaces underwent improvement, among them one territory recognized as a winner in the All-Russian competition for the best projects in creating a comfortable urban environment.
Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasian Federal District Yury Chaika, in a letter to Head of Dagestan Sergei Melikov, commended the republican authorities for their effective work and expressed confidence in the continued improvement of national project implementation under Melikov's leadership. In 2025, Dagestan ranked among the top 15 regions in Russia for budget utilization efficiency.
