MAKHACHKALA, June 10 – RIA Dagestan. In the first four months of 2026, industrial production index in Dagestan climbed to 101.9%, compared to just 72.8% in the corresponding period of 2025. The volume of goods shipped, work performed, and services rendered amounted to RUB 36.6 billion (117.8% relative to January–April 2025), up from RUB 31.1 billion (109.1%) a year earlier.
The regional Ministry of Industry and Trade attributed the growth to gains across multiple industries, including a 29.7% increase in the manufacture of computers, electronics, and optical products, an 8.0% rise in food production, and a 32.7% expansion in electricity production, transmission, and distribution.
