Makhachkala, October 29, 2018. The representatives of Akhtynsky district administration and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Republic of Dagestan have discussed the idea to create Samursky National Park and the controversial issues related to the territories occupied by the local farming enterprises.

As noted, the creation of the Samursky National Park, the mountain cluster of which occupies more than 40 thousand hectares, will preserve the natural and cultural heritage of the territory at federal expense.

The meeting participants did not exclude the possibility of attracting a large number of tourists and environmentalists to the “national park”. The authorities assume to create jobs ranging from ecology inspectors to service personnel.
