The republican state broadcasting company “Dagestan” launched a cycle of TV programs about the role of women in society called "Woman of Dagestan". The first documentary has recently been presented on the TV channel. Woman - philosopher, politician and public figure Lyudmila Avshalumova is the first heroine of the project. Marianna Magomedova, as the director of the film, managed to reveal the secret of heroine’s life, the way of shaping her personality and political principles. At the same time, only the most significant Avshalumova’s achievements are indicated in the film.

The magazine "Women of Dagestan" co-authored this film. The editor-in-chief of the magazine Naida Kerimova noted that thanks to the television format, even more people could learn about the worthy women of Dagestan.
