The government of the Republic of Dagestan has launched "One hundred kindergartens" project for the renovation of preschool educational institutions. The municipal district administrations of the region are expected to submit justified applications for overhaul of kindergartens to the Ministry of Economic Development of the republic.

The funds for repairs will be allocated from the republican and municipal budgets. The practice of sponsorship co-financing - the participation of patrons, which was the main condition for participation in the "100 Schools" project, will not be applied in this new project.

The size of the subsidy from the republican budget to co-finance the implementation of one project will be calculated depending on design capacity of each preschool educational organization.
It is noted that there are about 900 kindergartens in Dagestan, of which 300 are in need for overhaul. As previously reported, in the republic since 2018, the project "100 schools" had been implemented. Since then, more than 570 schools had been repaired for funds from the budget of the Republic of Dagestan and the sponsors.
