The international festival of folk art "Caspian - the shores of friendship" will be held in Dagestan on September 13 - 16, the press service of the Republican House of Folk Art reports. The event will bring together creative teams from all the republics of the Northern Caucasus, Kalmykia, and the Astrakhan region. The teams from foreign countries - Iran, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan - will take part in a remote format due to the situation with coronavirus. The festival program consists of concerts, a photo exhibition, presentations of traditional culture, tightrope walkers’ performance, folk songs contest, a round table "Dialogues of Cultures", etc.

The specialists in the field of culture and art, artists, designers, performers and creative teams of the regions, heads of the Houses and Centers of Folk Art of the North Caucasus Federal District, volunteers, etc. will take part in the festival events.
