Rosseti Northern Caucasus (Russian power company, comprises interregional and regional distribution grid companies) is implementing a program to improve the reliability of the electric grid complex in the republic in Dagestan. The technical measures for the reconstruction and modernization of equipment will allow power engineers to improve the reliability and quality of power supply for the local residents, large industrial, agricultural and municipal enterprises, as well as socially significant facilities.

Since the beginning of this year, specialists replaced batteries at the 110 kV Lvovskaya substation. Excavation work is also underway to prepare sites for the installation of transformers, taking into account seismic stability of 9 points, at the 110 kV supply centers Aktash, Yaryksu and ZFS. Here, the repair teams will install new transformers with an increase in power instead of the transformers that worked out their standard term.

The works at power facilities are planned to be completed by the end of September. As a result, the reliability and quality of power supply to more than 200 thousand residents of the cities of Khasavyurt, Kizilyurt, Khasavyurt, and Babayurt will be improved.

In total, this year, as part of implementation of the Program for Improving the Reliability of Power Supply of the Electric Grid Complex of Dagestan, Rosseti Northern Caucasus will reconstruct 27 substations and three overhead power lines.
