As to the Fisheries Development Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of Dagestan, 12 fishing enterprises have been given a permit to catch 2500 tons of sprat instead of the usual 1120. According to available data, there are so many sprat in the sea, which allows for an increase in catch volumes. It is worth recalling that the mining season starts from February 1 to May 20 in the northern zone of the region.
