World champions in arm-wrestling among athletes with damages to musculoskeletal system greeted in airport of Makhachkala

Makhachkala, November 26, 2015. Dagestani sportsmen, the winners of the World arm-wrestling championship among people with damage to the musculoskeletal system have been solemnly met today, November26, at the airport of Makhachkala. The international competitions were held on November 21 - 24 in Polish city of Rumia. The Russian team included three trainees of Dagestan schools of arm-wrestling.

Tagir Magomedov (70 kg) has won the title of the absolute champion in Poland. The pupil of the honored coach of Russia Gasan Alibekov turned to be out of the competition in the struggle on both hands, winning two medals of the highest standard. Magomedov has become the 18-fold world champion and the most titled athlete in the world among men.

Another athlete, the 7-fold world champion Yusup Yusupaliev (90 kg), became a champion in the fight with his right hand and achieved the second result with the left hand. Another arm-wrestler from Dagestan, a follower of the coach Omar Nurudinov - Magomed Rasulov (60), won two gold medals, taking part in the World Youth Championship, and a bronze - in the competition among adult athletes.

Noteworthy, the officials of republican Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports, the relatives and friends met the champions in the airport.
