Makhachkala, October 3, 2014.  Russian mixed martial arts fighter Rustam Habilov (17-2) is to have his next UFC fight against American Danny Castillo (17-7) January 3, 2015. The fight will be part of a UFC 182 tournament to be held in Las Vegas, USA.

It will be Habilov’s first appearance after he was defeated by UFC ex-champion Ben Henderson at the major event of the UFC Fight Night show of June, 2014. It was his fourth UFC fight after 3 wins over Vince Pichela, Yancy Medeiros and Jorge Masvidal.

Castillo had lost on points two of his three previous appearances – against Edson Barboza and Tony Ferguson. His overall UFC record is 7-4.
