Monaco, December 18, 2014. Olympic champion Mansur Issaev won the international club tournament held in the Principality of Monaco on December 14, runs the official website the Russian Judo Federation.

The team tournament held as a line fight was there to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Monaco Judo Federation.

The contest assembled 8 men's teams from Monaco, France, Italy, Georgia and Russia that featured lots of titled athletes and top athletes of the national teams.
The Russian team had Mansur Issaev, Albert Oguzov (60 kg), Arsen Galstyan (66 kg), Hasan Halmurzaev (81 kg), Hussein Halmurzaev (90 kg), Zafar Makhmadov (100 kg) and Sergei Kessaev (+100 kg).

Russians – the winners of the tournament – defeated team France-1 (6: 1), Italy (7: 0), France-2 (5: 2), Georgia (4: 3), and France-3 (5: 2 ).
That was Issaev’s first appearance on the judo mat after the serious injury he got at the "Grand Slam" tournament in Paris February this year.
