Makhachkala, April 1, 2014. The Russian heavyweight athlete Magomed Malikov will fight against the illustrious veteran of mixed martial arts - Belarusian Andrei Orlovsky.
The bout will take place on June 28 within the framework of the tournament organized by the promotional company Fight Nights, the Russian sportsman M.  Malikov says.

"There is a mutual agreement between the parties that the duel will take place. Orlovsky is a legend of mixed martial arts, widely known both in Russia and in the world, as he was the champion of UFC. To compete with him in battle is a great honor for me" - Malikov noted.

For Orlovsky, the duel with Malikov will become the third one under the auspices of Fight Nights. The Russian athlete Malikov has had only 2 battles for the last 2 years. His rivals were Americans Kenny Garner and Jeff Monson. Malikov lost to Garner by knockout in the 3rd round, but he could defeat  Jeff Monson by technical knockout in the second round.

As M. Malikov informed, he will have signed a contract with the UFC this year. "The documents are under consideration in the UFC. I’ m waiting for an answer "-  Malikov concluded.
