Judoka Sirazhudin Magomedov wins international tournament
The sports event brought together over 300 athletes from 46 countries. In the 81 kg weight final, Magomedov defeated two-time Pan American Games medalist Travis Stevens of the United States. Another Daghestani Murat Habachirov placed third. Interestingly, Magomedov won the silver medal in the team event at the world championships in Chelyabinsk earlier this month.
