Makhachkala, March 24, 2017. Dagestani judokas will be among the participants of the Russian championship among juniors aged up to 23, held in Kemerovo on March 27 - 29, the Honored coach of Russia Shamil Aliyev says.

As informed, about 600 strongest sportsmen from all regions of Russia will take part in the forthcoming competitions. Eight athletes will represent Dagestan.
Magomed Labazanov, the current national champion of Russia among students and Gamzat Zairbekov, winning the youth championship of Russia in 2015, will head Dagestan team at the championship.

They will compete for awards in the weight category up to 60 kg. Among the juniors, there are also Akhmed Isayev (66 kg), Zaur Gasanov (90 kg), Magomed Shuaibov (100 kg) and Pasha Kharkhachayev (+100 kg).

Aikha Magomedova (57 kg) and Khadizhat Guseynova (78 kg) will take part in the competition between girls.
By results of the tournament, the best judokas will become the part of the Russian national team and represent the country at prestigious international competitions.
