Makhachkala, May 27, 2014. Daghestani wushu-sanda athletes won the total standings of the Russia nationwide tournament taking place on May 22-25 in Rostov-on-Don, the executive director of Daghestan Wushu-Sanda Federation Magomedali Magomedov told RIA "Daghestan".

He said Daghestani team of 49 athletes won 20 golds, 10 silvers, and 3 bronzes making themselves the first in the total standings. Over 300 athletes from many Russian regions were fighting to win in the tournament.

Magomedov also added that the tournament was at the same time a qualification for further international competitions to be held in Rostov-on-Don again, though their dates remain undetermined so far.
