Mahachkala’s Rassul Nurgadjiev and Arslanali Tunayev from Buynakskiy district won gold medals of the international youth tournament in Greco-Roman wrestling called "Upcoming Olympians" which finished in Baku yesterday, coach of the Russian Greco-Roman Wrestling Ali Ismailov says.

Nurgadjiev, a trainee of coach Arthur Kuramagomedov, became the champion in the 66 kg weight. In the 73 kg weight, Tunaev, a trainee of coach Magamedkamil Zakaryayev, was the one to place first. Another Daghestani wrestler from Buynakskiy district Magomedtagir Akayev won the bronze medal in the 35 kg weight.

Now, the athletes anticipate the North Caucasus Federal District championships scheduled to run 17-19 October in Buglen village, Buynakskiy district.
