Makhachkala, February 2, 2017. Dagestani judoka Maksud Ibragimov as a part of the Russian national team will participate in the Open European Championship held in Portugal on February 4-5, the website of the Russian Judo Federation reports.

The competition will take place in Odivelas. As informed, the athletes in weight categories up to 60, 66 and 73 kg will fight on the first day of the tournament. The sportsmen in the weight category up to 81, 90, 100 and over 100 kg will compete on the last day - February 5.

It should be noted, that the reigning champion of Russia, native of Dagestan town of Kizilyurt, Maksud Ibragimov will act for the Samara region in the competitions.
