Makhachkala, April 1, 2015. Dagestani fighter Yussuf Shuaev won the Russian MMA championship held March 27-29 in Dmitrov, Moscow region, president of Dagestan MMA Federation Abdulkarim Aigunov told RIA Dagestan.

The championships were part of the MMA Forum dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Dagestani athlete won the national championship in the absolute +93 kg weight leaving no chance to his opponents. The victory brought him a ticket to the world championship scheduled to runon May 1-5 in Italy.

Shuaev made his professional debut in the New Stream tournament in Moscow on October 31. For the young promising fighter from Dagestan, the bout with Ukrainian Evgeniy Boldyrev ended in a draw.
