Makhachkala, November 10, 2016. The participants of Dagestan Youth Pankration Tournament, taken place in Makhachkala on November6-7, brought together more than 100 athletes, the senior coach of the national team Abdulkarim Aigunov says. The competition was between children aged 7 to 12 years.

"There are not so many pankration tournaments among children held in the republic. According to the rules, they fought in helmets to avoid injures. Overall, the tournament was organized at a good level; the most important thing was to make the children happy. Dagestan Pankration Federation intends to hold similar sport events more often”- the spokesperson noted.

The graduates of the sports club "Young Dragon” won the competitions in team offset.The organizers awarded the participants with the medals and diplomas, as well as the sports equipment.
