The champion of Russia, Europe and the world (in weight category up to 86 kg) Abdulrashid Sadulayev, the champion of Russia, Europe and the world (in weight category up to 97 kg) Abdusalam Gadisov, the champion of Russia and Europe, bronze medalist of the World Championships (in weight category up to 65 kg) Magomed Kurbanaliev, the champion of Russia and Europe, bronze medalist of the World Championships (in weight category up to 55 kg) Nariman Israpilov and the champion of Russia, silver medalist of the European championship, world champion (in weight category up to 65 kg) Bekhan Goygereyev informed the head of the republic about the progress in the training process for the Russian championship, where they would compete to get the right to participate in the Olympic Games-2016.

The sitting brought together Dagestan Prime Minister, head of Dagestan wrestling federation Abdussamad Gamidov, the 1st deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Karibov, Dagestan minister for physical culture and sports Magomed Magomedov, as well as a senior coach of Dagestan wrestling team Mairbek Yusupov and Gaidar Gaidarov.

"I think that sportsmen are strong-willed people, because in order to win the highest awards, they should have a strong will. Besides, each athlete should be ambitious to achieve the highest results. We are worried about and really appreciate all Dagestanis sportsmen. If an athlete represents Dagestan and Russia, he should have a special status and all privileges. Our sportsmen have to think only about the sport, and we must solve their everyday problems: to create the conditions for life, studies, trainings. All these challanges are solved in Dagestan ", - Ramazan Abdulatipov noted. At the same time, Abdulatipov urged the coaches not only to engage in athletic training, but also to care about the future of the wrestlers: each champion should receive a higher education.

Dagestani Head told about the successes of the republic in the socio-economic sphere, but also noted that special attention was paid to the development of sport. Last year, the championship of Russia in freestyle wrestling, national championship in volleyball (where Dagestani team gained a victory), the Russian Football Cup, the Russian Rugby Championship took place in Dagestan.
"All the opportunities to hold such events we have, and we are interested to provide it", - Ramazan Abdulatipov stressed.
