Makhachkala, December 30, 2015. Dagestan athlete Shagavutin Rakhmanov became the winner of the All-Russian tournament "Stars of University Sports" held December 26-27 in Moscow, director of the Children and youth Olympic Athletics School Albert Rzayev said.

"Rakhmanov took the third place in the shot put, pushing the projectile to 16.1 meters", - Rzayev noted. Another Dagestani Salimat Baybolatova, ranked eighth in the women's 300 meters with a time of 40.08 seconds. The result was a new Baybolatova’s record in this discipline among women.
