Makhachkala, August 12, 2014. Famous hair weightlifting record-holders Abudurakhman Zubutlinskiy and Bruce Khlebnikov are willing to face off.
Daghestani Abdurahman Zubutlinskiy from the Guinness Book of Records, a five-time absolute world record-holder in hair weightlifting, has just received an official certificate confirming his latest record of November 16, 2013, from the Book’s officials. That day, the athlete aged 83 raised a weight of 81.5 kg tied to his hair 13 cm high holding it for 6.8 seconds.
In the near future, Zubutlinskiy plans to amaze the public with his superhuman power. This time, using a "steel" jaw, he will try and hold with his teeth a special belt pulled by a professional athlete, a powerlifting record-holder. The place for the show will be the republican state broadcaster "Daghestan" in Makhachkala.
Zubutlinskiy does not mind facing off with extraordinary 25-year-old Bruce Khlebnikov named after famous karateka Bruce Lee. The physical giant Khlebnikov is a holder to various 30 records. Using his long hair, he budges multi-ton combat aircraft, tram carriages, and passenger buses. In 2002, in Georgia, Bruce pulled a pleasure boat weighing 105 tons tied to his hair with a rope 15 meters away. 31 January, 2006, he set his 30th record - with bare hands, he tore 500 tear-off calendars in 38 minutes.
Bruce’s mother Nellie Khlebnikova said she has long wanted to organize a Zubutlinskiy vs. Khlebnikov. Zubutlinskiy responded he would accept any challenge from one of the most powerful men on the planet.
