Makhachkala, May 2, 2017. The solemn awarding ceremony of the winners of the First Open Republican Olympiad in Mathematics among schoolchildren took place in the assembly hall of the Physics Faculty of Dagestan State University, the press service of the university reports.

Over 50 senior students from all over Dagestan took part in the event. The first place and the certificate for 300 thousand rubles has been awarded to the 9th grade pupil of the Republican versatile boarding school for gifted children Abdulkadyr Buchaev. The 10th grade pupil of the school number 15 in the city of Derbent Zamir Ashurbekov took the second place and the monetary cash prize for 200 thousand rubles.  

The supervising teachers over the schoolchildren have not been remain without attention. They all have been benefited with payments. The intellectual competition ended with a festive concert with the participation of students of the Faculty of Culture of Dagestan State University.
