Moscow, May 23, 2017. Three Dagestani museums will be presented at the festival "Intermuseum-2017", which will be held May 25 - 29 in the Central Exhibition Hall "Manezh" in Moscow.
The Museum of History of the City of Makhachkala presents at the festival two major projects: "Makhachkala in the list" and the project "The Chutuev’s Dynasty. History in the lens", the press service of the Dagestani capital administration informs.

The first of the projects is the winner of the grant competition "Museum Guide" of the Potanin Charitable Foundation in the nomination "Country-Museum", the second is the semifinalist of the contest of the Union of Russian Museums "Dynasty of the City of N ...". Dagestan will be represented by two more museums at the "Intermuseum-2017" - the Gunib local history museum and the Museum of modern history of the city of Kizlyar.

The "Intermuseum" will unite about three hundred museums of Russia, the CIS countries and far abroad on one site. The purpose of the festival is to create a competitive environment for the museums, to share experiences and encourage museum workers to develop professionally.

Within the framework of the event, a business program for professionals, a competition for participating museums, as well as seminars and workshops for visitors are scheduled. The organizers of the Intermuseum are the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the State Museum and Exhibition Center ROSIZO, the Union of Museums of Russia, the Russian Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM Russia), the Potanin Charitable Foundation.
