Makhachkala, September 15 /RIA "Dagestan"/ The 2nd political science school "Kaspiy" started within the international forum "Russian Caucasus" in Makhachkala. The event has been organized by the Russian State Duma Committee on Nationalities, the Sociology Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Daghestan Institute of Economics and Politics, and the Daghestan office of the Russian Political Science Association.

The school is a series of lectures, round tables and discussion platforms run by university professors from Makhachkala, Moscow, Tomsk, Pyatigorsk, Krasnodar region, and other cities. Here, the head of the Department of Applied Political Science of the 'Higher school of economics' (St. Petersburg), Doctor of Political Sciences Alexander Sungurov and other professors took the floor.

Participants discussed methods of analyzing geopolitical conflicts in the Caucasus and the Caspian region and methods of the systematic approach to scenario analysis, considered the problems and causes of ethnic conflicts and relationships, etc.
