Makhachkala, May 4, 2016. The day before, the police officers eliminated three unknown gunmen in Kizilyurtovsky district of the republic of Dagestan after they opened fire at police patrol car in the vicinities of Stalsky settlement, the regional Interior Ministry informs.

"At around 21:00 MSK near the village of Stalsky located in Kizilyurtovsky district police officers tried to stop a VAZ-2114 car but faced violent armed resistance.  By reprisal fire all the attackers were eliminated" – the source is quoted saying. No casualties among the policemen reported. The perpetrators’ identities are being investigated.
