Makhachkala, April 3, 2017. The Socio-Economic Development Foundation “Gazi Kumukh” has announced the photo contest “Lakia”. As to the photo project manager Rashid Suleymanov, the competition aims at the development the ethno tourism in Dagestan and the creation of a photo archive of the historical and geographical areas of Lakia, which includes Laksky, Kulinsky, and Novolooak districts of the Republic of Dagestan.

The total prize fund of the contest makes 270 thousand rubles. The best works will go to the photo exhibition in Makhachkala and Moscow. Besides, according to the organizers, the winner will receive grand prix. Both professional photographers and amateurs can take part in the competition.

The phot project manager Rashid Suleymanov, the Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Dagestan, photographer Kamil Chutuev, the member of the Union of Artists of Russia Gabibulla Gabibullaev and others will appraise the works of the contestants.
