Perinatal Center to receive its first patients on December 1 in Makhachkala

Makhachkala, April 6, 2016. Yesterday, April 5, the first deputy chairman of Dagestan Government Anatoly Karibov participated in outreach activities on verifying compliance with the terms of design, construction and commissioning of the perinatal center in Makhachkala, the governmental press service informs. The representatives of the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision, the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare, RF President's Plenipotentiary in the North Caucasus Federal District apparatus and the officers of the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund across Dagestan accompanied Karibov in examination visit.

The top officials inspected the construction site of the Center, where the workers are engaged in three shifts not to break the schedule. Several tenders for purchase of medical equipment had already been conducted. Personnel is being recruited.

"The construction of the new medical institution is conducted in strict accordance with the approved schedule. At the same time, there are some problems with its funding. As a result of checking measures, they will be solved ", - the minister expressed confidence.

The Public Health Minister of Dagestan Tanka Ibrahimov said that the facility employed a large team of builders, numbering about 250 people. "As required, the number of employees will be increased. We are obliged to finish all works by December 1, 2016 and to put the perinatal center into operation"- Ibrahimov said.
