Perinatal Center is almost ready to receive its first patients - Lev Kuznetsov

Makhachkala, January 25, 2017. On January 24, being on a working visit to Dagestan, the Russian Minister for the North Caucasus Affairs, Lev Kuznetsov and Dagestan Prime Minister Abdusamad Gamidov visited the Republican perinatal center in Makhachkala, the press service of Dagestani Head and government administration reports.

The officials were accompanied by the advisor to the Russian Minister for Affairs of the Northern Caucasus Rizvan Gazimagomedov and Dagestani Minister of Public Health Tanka Ibragimov.

Lev Kuznetsov praised the work of the builders and noted that the center was almost ready to receive its first patients. "It is necessary as quickly as possible to complete all the documents. Each day of this institution can save someone's life. There is also a need to prepare a "road map". We can help to accelerate these processes, "- the Russian Minister for the North Caucasus Affairs noted.

Recall that the perinatal center combines specific technologies of medical care aimed at preservation of the pregnancy and birth of a healthy child, even in the case of serious mother's illness. In this center, medical officers diagnose and treat all types of infertility, use reproductive technologies and conduct various children and adults’ examinations.

The construction of the perinatal center, designed for 150 patients, equipped with the most modern equipment, had been launched in 2011. The process of construction of the important social facility was under strict control of Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov, the Russian Ministry of Public Health, the Federal Mandatory Health Insurance Fund and the leadership of the North Caucasian Federal District.
