The meeting proceeded into the university’s conference hall where there were the DSU leadership, lecturers, and young scientists from the physical, chemical, ecological, and biological faculties.

President of the Japanese company Kassuia Makoto made a first presentation of a new project he had taken here with him. The technology is that you add up to 24% water to an oil volume and you get fuel identical to the original after running it through a technological cycle. To turn water into fuel, you need a chemical reaction – the liquids are mixed under high voltage. Methanol, water and diesel fuel pass through a complex filter coming up with fuel nicknamed "Aruko" which is indistinguishable from the original.

Makoto told about the step-by-step process of getting fuel energy from water. He emphasized that the technology is of great importance to environmental protection, rational use of fuel resources, and facilitating the supply of fuel to some regions. His presentation rose great interest in the audience to entail an interesting discussion of the new invention.
