Makhachkala, August 2, 2017. Makhachkala city authorities decided to involve Moscow center "Carnival-Style" in preparation of the script of celebratory events dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the capital of Dagestan, Makhachkala. The holiday will be celebrated in September, the press service of the mayor's office reports.

"The specialists of the Center are much experienced in staging such events. In 2015 they directed the celebrations dedicated to the 2000th anniversary of Derbent" the source is quoted saying.
Mass festivities, actions and concerts will be held in the city in the days of city anniversary celebration. The dwellers and guests of Dagestani capital will enjoy many other interesting events" - Sergei Tylkin, the director of the Carnaval-Style directorate said.

"Makhachkala is a beautiful seaside city, a ship-city on the shore of the Caspian Sea, which sails to meet its future with raised sails. We will make a presentation of its history to the audience. The capital of Dagestan will receive the holiday that it deserves" -  Tylkin added.
