Makhachkala to host the I All-Russia forum of teachers of Russian language and literature

Makhachkala, October 21, 2015. The I All-Russia forum of teachers of Russian language and literature - the winners of the federal and regional professional competitions "Russian language and literature - a basis for the unity of educational space and understanding of the peoples of Russia" will be held October 29 - 31 in Makhachkala, the Information Policy department officer of Makhachkala city administration informed.

The organizers have identified the following areas of the forum: "Philological education in conditions of information civilization: the challenges and search for answers"; "Intelligent country: illusion or reality"; "The crisis of reading or crisis of pedagogical skills: whether it is possible to return the interest in reading"; "Together: positive practice cooperation among schools, museums and cultural institutions"; “Extracurricular activities in Russian language and literature: the experience of the best for all"; "Educational potential of subjects "Russian language" and "literature".

The press service officer added that the forum will bring together over 500 best teachers of Russian language and literature from all over Russia – the winners of federal and regional competitions "Teacher of the Year" and the priority national project in the sphere of education and the members of the All-Russian Teachers’ Association.

They will take part in a variety of thematic events: experience sharing round tables, the solemn ceremony of initiation of young teachers into the profession and the membership of the All-Russian public organization "Association of teachers of literature and the Russian language", the opening ceremony of the forum, the plenary session, the sections of pedagogical workshops, literary salon, trainings of interactive technologies, different presentations of projects, meetings with editors of leading methodical magazines, pedagogical ideas festival, etc.

Besides, the forum participants will go on an excursion to the ancient city of Derbent, the Naryn-Kala citadel and the House of Peter I.
