Implementing Daghestani Head’s priority projects discussed at ministry of education

Makhachkala, April 16, 2014. On April 15, Daghestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov’s priority projects were discussed at the ministry of education, science and youth policy, the spokesman at the ministry told RIA "Daghestan".

The meeting chaired by the deputy minister S. Aliyev brought together heads of departments and ministry officials in charge of these projects. During the meeting, participants discussed preparing necessary materials for implementing the priority projects.

In order to bring to life a complex of measures to promote English, Russian, and Daghestan native languages within the priority project "Human Capital" ("Educated Daghestan"subproject), the ministry of education, science and youth policy have done a great job.

In particular, within the "Russian-speaking Daghestan" activity area (October 2013-March 2014), they monitored the survey of teaching Russian in rural schools in Daghestan. To this end, they worked out a form of the monitoring and made up an online field schedule of the monitoring.

In order to discuss a large-scale educational program of promoting the knowledge of Russian in Daghestan, in March 2014, they held a workshop with participation of experts from the ministry and the faculty staff at the faculty of philology at Daghestan State Pedagogical University. During the workshop, they discussed an action plan of promoting the knowledge of Russian in Daghestan as part of the "Russian-speaking Daghestan" activity area ("Educated Daghestan" subproject) of the "Human Capital" priority project of Daghestan development.
