Makhachkala, August 27, 2014. An exhibition of the nationwide amateur photo contest "Russia is my destiny" launched in August 2014, will be held 15-28 September at the House of Friendship in Makhachkala, a source in Daghestan ministry of press and information told RIA "Dagestan".
The photo contest featuring exhibitions is becoming a good tradition – this one is the fourth one in the row. This year, the exhibit will be open for visitors in Makhachkala (15-28 September), Novouralsk (10-22 October), and Ufa (October 29-November 12).
The competition is held in eight nominations: "Nature", "Sport", "Russian traditions", "Culture", "Joy", "Multicoloured Russians", "Russian monuments", and "Russia’s defenders". Here, participants are people of all ages in love with photography and their home country, who are eager to share their own vision of their homeland.
Anyone can apply for participation by sending photos to firstname.lastname@example.org with specifying the city in the subject field. The application must include the participant's name, the name of the photo, a brief description of everything in the photo, and the contacts. To participate in Makhachkala exhibition, you need to apply until 2 September; otherwise you’ll be able to participate in exhibitions in Ufa and Novouralsk, if you qualify.
The jury compiled from renowned cultural figures will select the best photos, and the authors will be awarded prizes and diplomas. For details and accreditation, surf to www.fotopatriot.ru.
