Eight Dagestanis win talented youth support award in 2014

Makhachkala, December 11, 2014. Eight Dagestanis won awards of supporting talented young people in 2014. The order on awarding prizes to support talented youth of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science dated back to October 20 says three more Dagestanis won monetary prizes of 60,000 and 30,000 rubles.

The winner of the nation-wide contest for prizes and scholarships named "Young talents - 2014" are Zagidat Gazimagomedova (arts and crafts and folk art, 60,000 rubles), Timur Gadjimagomedov (arts and crafts and folk art (30,000 rubles), and Renat Kakhrimanov (student leader).

So in total, eight Dagestanis have won the award this year. The first 2014 winners were: Eldar Murliev (the winner of the national competition of scientific and technical research and youth projects "Youth Innovation", 60,000 rubles), Gadjimurad Shabagiev (the winner of the 5th Summer Universiade of higher educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, 60,000 rubles), Daniyal Aliyev and Zaira Rabadanova (the winners of the Russian festival "Russian Student Spring" , and Zaur Salikhov  (a medalist of the 13th Russian Youth Delphic Games, 30,000 rubles).

The awards are given annually in accordance with the №325 Presidential Decree of 06.04.2006 «On measures of state support for talented youth". They give 1,250 prizes of 60,000 rubles to the winners and prize-winners of national and international Olympiads and other competitions, and 4,100 prizes of 30,000 rubles to prize-winners of national, regional and inter-regional Olympiads and other competitions.
